In 1985, at the Kerala State School Youth Festival in Thrissur, four young talents Shankaran Namboothiri, Lalu, Sreevalsan J Menon and M Jayachandran, won top honours in Carnatic music. First and second prizes were shared between them, but what truly stood out was the friendship that bloomed.
They came together after thirty-five years for a heartfelt performance titled “Friends Music Concert”, a beautiful collage of four remarkable musical journeys, bound by ragas and memories.
